Jonathan Doe Picture if you will, compositions with the heaviest vibrations melding with tales from a series of a bygone era. You don’t know it yet, but you are about to be dropped into a world of twists and turns and relentless pummeling. Submitted for your approval, you have just entered… the Serling zone. Favorite track: As Timeless As Infinity (Remaster).

Enter another dimension Not only of sight and sound but of mind Between the pit of man’s fears Unlock the door with the key of imagination Shadow and substance Things and ideas Journey into the wondrous land Another dimension of the fifth kind As vast as space As timeless as infinity That’s the signpost up ahead You’ve just crossed over into…

READ! READ! READ! All you do is READ! READ! READ! All you ever wanna do is READ! READ! READ! Why can’t you do anything else? I just want to take my time and enjoy my life No one can see what this all means to me I can’t believe this is seen as a crime Why can’t I just enjoy this time? Let me take a break and READ! READ! READ! All you do is READ! READ! READ! All you ever wanna do is READ! READ! READ! Why can’t you do anything else? I just want to take my time and enjoy my life I wish you all would just go and let me read in peace FINALLY! I have the time I need Why me? Why me?! There was finally the time that I fucking need…
3.
This state is a fucking joke I’ll make sure that you fucking choke Stand for nothing, watch as the tides turn We hereby condemn you as obsolete Choose your fate for all to see It’s bombs away for me I bet that makes you happy I get to choose who watches Why don’t you come join me? Now the world will see who you’re truly meant to be Cry it out because you’re stuck with me Don’t forget to fake a smile for the TV The state is watching closely This state is still a fucking joke We will all make sure that you fucking choke Stand for nothing, watch as the tides turn We hereby condemn you as obsolete Choose your fate for all to see YOU’VE BECOME OBSOLETE!
4.
BECKER! I have returned to re-live my glory days Now get the fuck away from me, you filthy fucking pig This place was my sanctuary I did as I was told, I’m sorry you were in the way Executing orders, executing a disgrace Watch them burn, watch them squeal You wouldn’t understand, you don’t know how it feels One grows fond for the good old days These “little mistakes”, they can be washed away Watch them burn, watch them squeal You wouldn’t understand My eyes! My legs! What did you do to me?! Who could endure such pain?! CAPTAIN! This is not hatred; this is retribution This is not revenge; this is justice This is only the beginning X2 Your final judgment will come from God, filth
5.
No time to enjoy my life Working my way to the mountaintop Take me back to where I started Keeping my knowledge to stay ahead Everyone can stay beneath me I will get what I deserve Take me back to where I started Keeping my knowledge to stay ahead From the moment I first met you I wanted our time to be through Something isn’t quite right with you Scheming and plotting your way through Without heart for those around you I have a deal you can’t refuse We can take you back to your special place With some accommodations at your request Liquidate your assets; get ready for your next quest Next stop, Cliffordville Is it all you hoped for? LIES! ALL LIES! YOU LIED! HOW COULD YOU BETRAY ME?! You, you reap, what you sow, you dug your own grave X2 Never satisfied, always wanting more Welcome to your new life You, you reap, what you sow, you dug your own grave X2 Never satisfied, always wanting more Welcome to your new life
6.
Why won’t you listen to me? Why won’t anyone listen to me? I know what’s best You don’t know what you’re missing You always just walk away This is the opportunity You haven’t heard right until you’ve heard me Everyone thinks I’m a fucking joke If only you would just listen I have better ideas than you’ve ever heard But you can’t see past your own insolence Why won’t you listen to me? Why won’t anyone listen to me? I know what’s best Now you have to listen Now I can make you listen How could this be happening? How could this have gone so wrong? How could this be happening? How can I turn back the clock? Where did I go wrong? I had the wrong plan all along
7.
Why, oh why, does a man have to die? It's not fair, I tell you Why shouldn't a man have more longevity? Name your price I won't hide This can't be all, this can't be all there is for me I must go on I must, I must Sign away It's all mine You won't notice it's gone Here's to your new life No thrill at all This isn't the life I wanted Let's go back to where we started No pain at all This isn't the life I wanted Get me out of this new hell I exercise my right to end it all This isn't the life I wanted Let's go back to where we started It all ends It ends, it ends
8.
Sunnyvale holds no rest for me Cast here like a tin skipping pavement By a son whose grown to give me away The others beckon me back to my waking grave A killing kindness Stammered by the sounds of children larking Get back inside the house What is that terrible racket What was that game A summer Ritual we played to Stay young I remember Life under street lamps With time Standing still All this nonsense has to stop What are you trying to prove You can't escape your fate I can't play kick the can alone We away on the sound of Firecrackers The others and I Awash in the youth of night Oh my bones feel light Wait Marco Polo Wait Olly Olly Oxen Free Marco Polo Wait Olly Olly Oxen Free Marco Polo Wait Who was that sad old man
9.
Welcome to my life It's full of disappointment If only I had Something to separate me From the rest of the pack Let's give him a chance Let's see how he does With his new found strength The opportunity For a better world Is lost on man This one is no exception This one is no exception I had it all Now it's all whisked away Welcome back To my sorrows
10.
Beyond the ordinary A story will unfold Where the eye's perception Shapes the truth we're told In this twisted dimension Where judgement's veil is torn The eye of the beholder A fate that's yet unborn A women shrouded in shadows Her face a hidden veil Bound by society's chains A prisoner to their tale But her heart beats with hope A longing to break free To find a place where differences are treasured Just as they should be In a world that fears uniqueness She finds her inner grace A reflection of her spirit A symphony in space
11.
They have arrived Don't go up that ramp Give it some time and you'll find we're all designed for slaughter Day after day we spend dragging brittle bones towards our worst nightmares Promising peace in exchange for everything Tell me you're alive Like I give a fuck Unstitch your shirt it's time to be forgotten Bloodletting gimp it's time to meet your maker Slave to consume lift up your gaze as you devour Swallow you whole Like they give a fuck No more wars No more famine What was the cost Nothing is ever given Give us what we've always wanted Only to take us all away Give us what we've always wanted It's a cook book

about

This is a double EP from SERLING. The James Bevis Chronicles has been mastered for the first time ever, and now sounds how it should have all along. The Hempstead Assignments is a continuation of The James Bevis Chronicles, so it just felt right to do this as a double EP and give everyone our first EP and newest together.
