The place is here
The time is now
The journey into the shadows we’re about to watch could be ours
Is anyone here?
Is anyone here?!
Food on the stove, eggs over-easy, hash browns
Music from the jukebox
Someone must be near
Please tell me someone’s near
No one will answer me
Loneliness you won’t believe
Who am I supposed to be?
Nothing but mannequins
No one to answer when the payphone rings
Am I the last man on Earth?
Is this all a dream?
Running endlessly, I can’t find the companionship I seek
Sensory deprived
I thought I was losing my mind
I’m in isolation, but I still wake up a failure X2

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
